We are providing this service to help return a missing/ lost person to their family. I sympathise with any family who have had another family member go missing. If this card can do only one thing; help to return someone who goes missing, then our job is complete. Help protect and return vulnerable individuals with this contact card. If required, additional contact information can be added to rear of card along with any allergies or medications.
Recent 2018 statistics shows:
- Someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK
- 180,000 people are reported missing every year
- There are 340,000 missing incidents every year
- Children are more likely to be reported missing than adults: 1 in 200 children goes missing each year; 1 in every 500 adults goes missing each year
Research also shows that the numbers recorded in police data are likely to be a significant underestimate.
